Erica Saunders is the Training Manager at ICL. Erica is a care work advocate, with specific research experience concerning Early Childhood Educators who work split shifts. She holds a Master's degree in Early Childhood Studies, in addition to certifications in Digital Marketing and Executive Assistant Skills. Erica formerly worked as an Early Childhood Educator in child care and the school board, and currently works part time as an Advocacy Organizer with Child Care Now. Erica also co-edited the ninth edition of the Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care's Guide to Early Learning and Child Care in Ontario. She is incredibly passionate about drawing attention to the needs of undervalued, underpaid, and precarious workers. Erica believes that social justice work is a collective responsibility and uses this as her grounding principle in day-to-day life.
