JP is a former Toronto City Hall staffer and winning electoral campaign manager. Their background includes grassroots organizing, resource mobilization, public relations and developing narratives to build capacity for community leadership.
JP was also the Campaign Manager for MPP Tom Rakocevic and Councillor Anthony Perruzza's winning reelection campaigns in 2022. From 2017-2023, they worked for Councillor Anthony Perruzza at Toronto City Hall, handling communications and constituency work, including media and stakeholder relations.
JP’s top priority is poverty reduction through an intersectional lens, including taking action on affordable housing initiatives, food security, racial and gender-based issues, and strengthening public services such as transit and libraries.
Recreationally speaking, they enjoy travelling, urban hikes, and closeness with creative pursuits, including visual art, poetry, and music.
