Maya Roy

Director of Partnerships

Maya Roy formerly served as Executive Director with Newcomer Women’s Services and YWCA Canada. Maya brings to ICL over 20 years of experience in organizing, service delivery, anti-racism, and gender-based analysis expertise; providing consulting services for non-profit clients in a variety of sectors around the world, primarily through her work in global education and policy. A social worker with significant experience in evidence-based policy development and labour market access and upskilling for racialized women, she has served on the National Housing Council, Taskforce on Women & Economy, the G7 Gender Equality Advisory Council, and as a Young Global Leader with the World Economic Forum. She is currently a member of the board of directors of Women’s College Hospital where she serves as a member of its Quality Assurance Committee.
