Melanie Matthews

Chair

Melanie Matthews is the Chair of the Alumni Association. She holds an Honors Bachelor of Social Work degree and a Master of Social Work degree, and brings a wealth of experience from her 10 years of working with non-profit organizations. Most recently she worked as the Research and Evaluation Lead at For Youth Initiative and currently owns a consulting business that works with non-profit organizations to develop evidence based programs, implement program evaluations, and complete grant applications. Melanie first became involved with ICL by taking a Building Skills for Change workshop in April 2019. With her passion for community engagement and commitment to striving for social justice, Melanie found a home working with ICL and joined the Alumni Association. She strives to meaningfully engage with ICL Alumni and facilitate continued relevant participation in ICL activities.
