ICL's Fifth Anniversary Celebration in Ottawa!
Ottawa-area Alumni of the Institute for Change Leaders are getting together in-person to celebrate ICL’s 5th anniversary, and I want to invite you to join us!
We'll watch the online live stream from the event in Toronto stories, see old friends, meet new friends, and enjoy the entertainment. The event is happening Tuesday, November 16th at 6:00pm EDT. Join us!
The details of the location are still being worked on, but the venue will have health protocols in place the details of which will be provided before we finalize the Ottawa location. The location will depend on numbers, so we encourage you to RSVP early!
Location: TBD
Please join us for a night to remember, with chances to win prizes, performances by famed Canadian poet Randell Adjei, a keynote address by activist Janet Merlo, the presentation of the ICL Alumni Awards, and all of the friendly faces of ICL.
It has been such a journey getting to this point, so friends new and old, please come and celebrate our half-decade of empowering social justice seekers to enact the change in which they seek.
Admission is free! Register today to join us. Attendees are eligible to win one FREE session to our Building Skills for Change workshop (valued at $325)!
Since launching in 2016 we have been hard at work equipping organizers with the skills they need to make social change. Despite the ongoing pandemic, 2021 has been a busy year: we’ve trained over 2,000 new activists and formed partnerships with 25 new organizations across Canada and the United States.
Join us to celebrate these accomplishments, get inspired, and have some fun!
