The crisis Support Workers face in Canada is now a humanitarian crisis.

Support workers are the pillars of the healthcare team and the shortage in this sector is negatively impacting client care. As quickly as we recruit new support workers, even more leave the profession- exhausted, frustrated, injured and or just move on for a better paying job. It's time to empower these workers and support these frontline heroes.

Join us for a 4 hour workshop delivered on two nights at the end of March. 

Together we can ensure that every support worker is respected, paid well and that all Canadians receive safe healthcare.

During the two zoom mini workshops, the Institute for Change Leaders will teach you how to:

• Develop an organizing statement.
• Use your story to motivate others.

This workshop series has been tailored to meet the needs of those working, studying and training in this sector.  You will learn through lectures and small group activities that will allow you to practice the skills we teach. You will work with an experienced organizer, and you will finish the course ready to tell your story, with a developed organizing statement.

This training will take place Tuesday March 21 and Tuesday March 28, 2023 (6-8pm EST) virtually.
