Join Olivia Chow, one of Canada’s most effective and well-known public figures, for an in-depth introduction on how to lobby governments using your story of self.

Learn how to clarify the goal you want to accomplish in your lobbying efforts and to define what is an effective “ask” according to the level of government you are lobbying. 

You’ll also learn how to develop an effective winning strategy. Plus follow a step by step guide on how to contact your elected representative, get a response and a meeting, prepare for the meeting (who and what to bring), how to conduct the meeting and follow up.

This training will take place in person on Saturday, March 18 from 12:30pm until 4:30pm downtown Toronto. Olivia will be joined by experienced facilitators who will help with hands-on practice for lobbying in small groups.
