Overview

Getting media attention is a goal of most campaigns, but actually talking to reporters can be nerve-wracking. It doesn’t have to be. This workshop will explore the way the media work, how to answer tough questions, and how to gain confidence through preparation and practice.

Using interactive role-playing, coaching and practice, participants will learn how to turn every media contact into a chance to advance their movement.

  • Gain confidence in your ability to tell your story with clarity and impact.

About the trainer

Brendan Agnew-Iler is a veteran campaigner and strategic communications consultant. He served as press secretary and senior advisor to former Toronto Mayor David Miller and is the former Director of Public Affairs at Argyle Public Relationships.
