The Institute for Change Leaders is excited to announce a new round of communications training sessions. In the lead up to the federal election, this is an opportunity to enhance communication skills.

Media Training – This workshop will explore the ways the media operates, how to craft a message that works, and interview preparation skills. Using interactive role-playing, coaching and practice, participants will learn how to turn every media contact into an opportunity to enhance organizing movement objectives.

The sessions will be taught by Brendan Agnew-Iler, a veteran campaigner and strategic communications consultant. Since serving as press secretary and senior advisor to Toronto Mayor David Miller, Brendan has worked on high-profile public issues such as transit investment and expansion, carbon pricing, science education, child care, climate change and public health.
